SilkPing Terms of Service

1. Overview
"SilkPing" ("we", "us", or "our") refers to the SilkPing platform and services operated by its owner.
SilkPing provides a client relationship management platform designed for service professionals to manage client information, track visits, and streamline follow-ups.
By accessing or using SilkPing, you agree to these Terms.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use SilkPing.
You are responsible for:
- maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- all activity conducted under your account
3. License to Use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SilkPing for your business purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, modify, or reverse engineer the platform
- use the platform for unlawful purposes
4. Customer Data Ownership
You retain all rights to the data you submit to SilkPing ("Customer Data"). By using the platform, you grant SilkPing a limited right to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Services.
We may use aggregated and de-identified data to improve functionality, analytics, and product performance.
5. Client Data & User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for all data you input into SilkPing, including:
- client contact information
- notes, preferences, and service-related plans
- intake forms and communications
You represent that:
- you have the right to collect and store such data
- you have obtained any required consent from your clients
SilkPing does not independently verify the accuracy or legality of user-provided data.
6. Non-Medical Use & HIPAA Disclaimer
SilkPing is intended for general client management and non-medical service-related notes (such as skincare routines, treatment preferences, and service plans).
SilkPing is not HIPAA compliant and is not intended for regulated healthcare environments or for use as a system of record for medical information.
You agree not to store:
- medical diagnoses
- medical records
- insurance information
- or other regulated health data
You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of SilkPing complies with applicable laws.
7. Communications & Messaging
SilkPing may assist in generating follow-up messages. You are solely responsible for:
- reviewing all communications before sending
- obtaining any required client consent
- complying with applicable communication laws (including SMS and email regulations)
SilkPing does not send communications on your behalf unless explicitly enabled.
8. AI-Generated Content
SilkPing may provide AI-generated suggestions, including follow-up messages and timing recommendations.
These outputs:
- are provided for convenience only
- may not always be accurate or appropriate
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before use.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the platform for unlawful purposes
- store prohibited or regulated medical data
- interfere with or disrupt the platform
10. Fees & Future Paid Features
SilkPing may offer free access or trial periods.
We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or features in the future. Any applicable fees will be clearly communicated prior to being charged.
11. Service Availability
SilkPing is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
SilkPing is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SilkPing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business, or profits.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
You may stop using SilkPing at any time.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SilkPing constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
